About Us

Lee is an entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience in the construction, property development and investment sectors. Having initially qualified as a Quantity Surveyor, he began his career in contract management supporting a wide range of commercial, leisure and residential projects for large clients.

Since 1996 Lee has established and grown several businesses, predominantly in prime residential property. Over that time he has been involved in the full spectrum of the luxury development industry, from large domestic homes to major hospitality schemes in the UK, Europe, USA and Caribbean.

Lee has a deep understanding of the financing needs of major developments and over the past 20 years has raised more than £1bn for his projects.

Nigel is Chairman of global legal business DWF and the former Global Co-Chairman and Senior Partner of DLA Piper. As Global CEO and Managing Partner for nearly 20 years, he is credited with DLA Piper’s remarkable growth, leading the firm through a series of mergers to become the World’s largest law firm.

Nigel was knighted in 2009 for services to the legal profession and is currently Chairman of a number of businesses including Zeus Capital and OneDome. He is also a Trustee of The Prince’s Trust.

Chris is a real estate development and investment professional with over 20 years global experience. Most recently Chris was the CEO of Portfolio International Holdings, a privately held real estate investment and development company. Chris oversaw the firm’s acquisition, development and investment of residential, hospitality and mixed-use real estate. Portfolio has completed 22 projects globally with an end value in excess of $1bn.

Prior to Portfolio, Chris was the Director of Acquisitions at Interwest Capital Group, a $1bn private equity firm based in California. Interwest specializes in the acquisition of ground up and value add hospitality and multi-family residential based real estate.

Chris commenced his career in the investments division of CB Richard Ellis in Sydney, Australia and has a Masters Degree (MSRED) from Columbia University.

Garry has a 35 year proven track record in all aspects of property development from feasibility through design, construction, operations and asset disposal. After graduation he trained as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in London before moving to Paris and then on to the Caymans and more recently the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Garry has worked internationally as an Owners Representative and Development Consultant and as a construction company Director/Partner. Twenty years ago he transitioned into property development and since then has worked with partners, financiers, Governments, designers and operators to successfully execute $500m of construction and development projects at the luxury end of the hotel, resort and residential markets.

Steve is a Chartered Accountant and spent 33 years at PwC, including 21 as a partner. From 2013 to 2017 he was a member of the firm’s assurance leadership team with responsibility for the UK regions, comprising 130 partners and 3,500 staff across 25 offices. During this time Steve led a period of sustained growth in revenues and a substantial increase in profits.

From 2012 to 2018 Steve was also a non-executive director of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, including 3 years as Chairman. He initiated and led a major turnaround strategy including a complex refinancing. Steve has a first-class honours degree from Liverpool University.

Jemima has 25 years’ experience working with many of the UK’s leading high street brands, including Trainline, Moss Bros. and most recently leading the rebrand for Co-op Food. In 2013 Jemima founded Hello Finch, a disruptive brand and marketing consultancy. Hello Finch deploys the expertise of a collective and builds a bespoke agency around individual client requirements.

Jemima is also a non-executive director of Carpetright plc, Revolution Bars Group plc and a Trustee of the Football Foundation, the UK’s largest sports charity.

She is an award winning speaker and sought after expert on brand and marketing. Jemima has an MBA with distinction from Warwick Business School.

Charles is the 22nd Earl of Shrewsbury, the Premier Earl in the Peerage of England, and in his capacity as Earl of Waterford, the Hereditary Lord High Steward of Ireland.

He is an active member of the House of Lords and promotes British industry and commerce at home and overseas. An accomplished shot, he is a former Chairman of the Firearms Consultative Committee at the Home Office, President of the Gun Trade Association and Chairman then President of the British Shooting Sports Council.

He was previously Deputy Chairman of Britannia Building Society and President of The Building Societies Association. Charles lectures in the US on his rich and intriguing family history. Charles was educated at Harrow School.
